The Gloucester Devils have been in the NRL since it's inception in 2004. Before that they played in the Open AA division under the ORA umbrella. The NRL Devils have had two head coaches - Lary Allen from 2004 to 2009, and their current coach Dave Mainwood who took over in September of 2009. Both Lary and Dave are long standing coaches in the Gloucester, Ottawa and Nepean Ringette organizations and have coached at all the elite levels. Dave was the 1998 coach of Team Canada. …
Well 2013 is getting off to a great start! On Sunday January 6th the U8 team held their Christmas party at the Tom Brown Arena so they could watch the Gloucester Devils play the Calgary RATH and boy are they fun to watch! Although it was cold in there you really felt the heat from how fast these ladies can skate :-) …
Our Moncton road trip started off on the evening of Friday October 26th in a little Dash 8 airplane (27 seats) that took us to Montreal, then a slightly bigger plane (56 seats) which brought us into Moncton around midnight.
