If you could meet one person (living or dead) who would you choose and why? This individual is in fact someone that I have met before but would love to sit down with and talk to them, my Gran (dad's mom). She was an incredible lady and lived her life to the fullest. She was taken from us too early (when I was in grade 10) and was very involved in our everyday life. She would make time for us grandchildren and always wanted to know what was going on in our lives. I just wish I could sit and talk with her and "show" her everything she has missed over the last 12 years. I think about her often and wonder how proud she would be, although I know she is looking down and smiling.
What age did you begin playing ringette and how did you get started? I started playing ringette when I was 8 years old, I was previously a figure skater...Hard to believe I know. My 2 cousins played the game and when my younger sister decided she wanted to play, I decided to play as well.
What is the most important thing you have learned from a teammate? The most important thing that I have learned from a teammate is that we are all in this together. We win and lose as a team and no matter what we stick together. We work hard as a unit and each of us bring a different skill set that is valuable to the success of our team.
