Biography
Adryon’s ringette career started later than most. She took up the fastest game on ice in St. Mary’s, Ontario when she was 12 years old. She made up for lost time though and quickly became an accomplished player. She enjoyed giving back to her chosen sport by coaching in the London rep system for a few years. In 2009, she started a summer ringette program in London for elite players that want to play in the off-season.
When asked, Adryon says her favourite ringette experience was helping the Cambridge Turbos win the first-ever World Club Championship in 2008 by scoring 2 of the 6 goals in the final against Luvia, Finland. It was her rookie year. She’d been on the team for only two months and could not have been more pleased to contribute to such an accomplished team.
Since then, Adryon’s helped the Turbos win NRL Gold in 2008 and 2009 and Silver in 2010 and 2011.
A recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an HBA in Sociology, Adryon is currently studying at George Brown College for Special Events Planning. Her goal is to work in the corporate world in a position that involves some travel.
