What age did you start playing ringette? How did you start?

Age 4 – my sister was introduced to it through the Luggs

If someone was wondering whether or not they should play ringette, what would you say to them?

YES – the ringette world is like one big family. I’ve played on numerous sports teams and ringette has always been my favourite. The friends I have made through ringette are still the friends I am closest with today – 17 years later.

What do you think ringette would look like in 20 years?

For me, ringette will look different in 20 years only because I will hopefully be in the stands cheering or on the bench coaching my kids. The equipment will likely be nicer and more high-tech but I doubt very much else will change. (It doesn’t need to!)

Who is you favourite sports athlete and why?

Michael Jordan – he was an all-around amazing athlete in both basketball and baseball. And who doesn’t like Space Jam?!
