On November 8, the Lac St. Louis Adrenaline hosted the Rive-Sud Revolution at Raymond-Bourque arena. In front of 121 spectators, the Adrenaline avenged their defeat in the first game of the season with a 7-2 win.
After a slow start, Lac St. Louis got going and managed to dominate their opponent for the remainder of the game, ending with 54 shots on net versus 23 for Rive-Sud. Annie Lecours-Boucher was the standout player with a performance of 4 goals and an assist to bring her total on the season to 10 goals and 8 assists for 18 points, and in the same vein, enters the top 20 goal scorers of the league, joining Marilyne Bédard already there. Maude Robitaille stopped 21 of the 23 shots sent her way to notch her first win of the season.
"After five straight losses, the win was important for the team" mentioned assistant coach and assistant director Jean-François Ethier. "You win and lose as a team. There are highs and lows during the season, the main thing is to be able to bounce back when you hit those lows. There is no better remedy than a win."
