Miguelle Proulx had a hat trick and one assist and Jenny Snowdon added three helpers, but it was the high octane offense of the Ottawa Ice that caused the Attack to fall 9-4 in Saturday game action. The Ice fired 60 shots on Attack goaltender, Karine Doiron. Ottawa’s Katie Lugg, currently 8th in the National Ringette League scoring race had 7 points in the win for the road team.
On Sunday morning in Shediac, the teams repeated a 9-4 score with the Ice once again adding an additional two points in their Eastern Conference standings. The Atlantic Attack will next travel to Quebec on December 21-22 for a three game set versus the Lac St.Louis Adrenaline, Montreal Mission and the Rive Sud Revolution.
The Attack return to home ice in the new year when they welcome the Rive Sud Revolution on January 11th and 12th in Cocagne. Game admission is $5 per adult and $2 for a youth under 16. Youth under 16 wearing a jersey will get in for free.
