Miguelle Proulx’s effort alone almost defeated the Montreal Mission on Saturday afternoon. Proulx scored an impressive six goals and Jenny Snowdon had the additional marker in an 8-7 loss to the second place Mission.
In Saturday evening action, the Mission capitalized on a majority of their scoring opportunities securing 12 goals on 41 shots. Catherine Cartier had four goals and three assists for the victory. M. Proulx scored the lone Attack goal in the 12-1 loss.
Proulx ended her first season in the National Ringette League as the Attack’s scoring leader. The 17 year old notched 42 goals and 10 assists in only 19 games played.
The Atlantic Attack failed to secure a playoff position in the Eastern Conference and will embark on their fourth season in the NRL this fall.
