The Atlantic Attack gained an additional four points in the Eastern Conference standings during their latest Ontario road trip to now claim an impressive 10-2-0 record.
In Saturday game action, Josée Doiron posted five assists and Martine Caissie and Joelle Proulx both scored a hat trick to lead the Attack to a 7-4 victory over the Waterloo Wildfire. In the second match of the day, the Richmond Hill Lightning topped the Attack 9-6. Kelly Snowdon produced two Attack goals.
On Sunday, the Attack defeated the defending NRL champions, the Cambridge Turbos, in an exciting shootout. Miguelle Proulx scored the lone shootout goal and Karine Doiron turned away all three Cambridge shooters for the 6-5 win.
Martine Caissie of Bouctouche remains the top scorer in the NRL with 31 goals, 13 assists for 44 points in 11 games. The Attack will host the Lac St Louis Adrenaline (1-4-0) in Fredericton on November 14-15 weekend.
