Atlantic Attack play four game road swing in Western Canada; playoff hopes fading.

The Atlantic Attack’s debut game on their Western road swing to Alberta resulted in a close game between the visitors and the home team; the Calgary RATH. The RATH fired 55 shots on Attack netminder Nathalie Poirier and eventually scored the go-ahead goal in the 4th period to hand the Attack a 5-4 loss. Dieppe’s Miguelle Proulx had two goals and one assist. In a matinee game, the Rath skated to an 11-2 victory. J. Doiron scored both Attack goals.

In Sunday game action, the Edmonton WAM! were victorious over the Attack 15-3 and 8-2.

The Attack hold a 3-19-0 record and will play four more games in both Cocagne and Charlottetown to finish the regular season. The Attack will play a two game series versus the Gloucester Devils in Cocagne on February 8th and 9th before heading to Charlottetown to play the Montreal Misson on February 15th.
