Atlantic Attack put best season to date on the line at home

The Atlantic Attack will bring the NRL Eastern Conference playoffs to Atlantic Canada for the first time since the team’s inception in 2011.

The Atlantic Attack finished 3rd in the Eastern Conference with a solid regular season record of 20-7-0-1 for 41 points. The top two teams of the Eastern Conference (Montreal Mission and Cambridge Turbos) receive a bye to the NRL Championship. As a result, the Attack will welcome the 8th place Le Royal de Bourassa (8-18-0-2= 18 points) who edged out the Waterloo Wildfire for the last playoff spot in the East.

The Attack and Bourassa had only one match-up this season which ended in a 6-5 victory for the Attack.

Martine Caissie of Bouctouche turned in the best performance of her ringette career with a 5th place finish in league scoring (61 goals, 29 assists,90 points).

The Attack playoff games times are March 12 at 1:00pm (Arthur J. Leblanc Arena) and 6:15pm in Cocagne (Marina Arena). If needed, the winner take all game will be played on Sunday, March 13th at 10:20am at the Cap-Pelé Arena. The winner of this series will move on to compete for the NRL championship title April 3-9 in London, Ontario.

Admission to the games is $5 per adult and $2 for a youth under 16.
