Atlantic Attack score 27 goals in three games to sweep the Lac St Louis Adrenaline

The Atlantic Attack who now hold a 13-2-0 record maintained top spot in the Eastern Conference this past weekend by securing three victories against the visiting Lac St Louis Adrenaline. The Attack, who are currently off to their best season start in team history, only need two more victories this entire regular season to surpass their highest win total since their debut season in 2011-2012 when they won 14 games in the regular season.

In Saturday game action, 15 year old Britney Snowdon had three points and Kelly Snowdon scored two goals to contribute to a 9-5 victory. Later in the evening, the Attack won by a score of 9-6. Karine Doiron made 25 saves and Jenny Snowdon and Josée Doiron each chipped in three assists.

On Sunday, the Attack lead the Adrenaline 7-2 at the half, but had to hold on as the visitors rallied to bring the score within one goal in the 4th period. Through solid defensive play, the Attack were able to contain the pressure and win the game at 9-8. Jocelyn Landry had 1 goal and 1 assist for the Attack.

Martine Caissie of Bouctouche remains the top scorer in the NRL with 37 goals, 15 assists for 52 points in 14 games. Nicole Richard leads all defense with 8 points. The Attack will host the Richmond Hill Lightning (5-2-0-1) in Shediac NB on December 5-6th weekend.
