Atlantic Attack successfully complete final road trip of regular season

The Atlantic Attack of the National Ringette League played a three game series vs. the Lac St. Louis Adrenaline as they closed out their 2012-2013 away game schedule. In Saturday morning action, goaltender Marissa Babin made 39 saves, but it was the Adrenaline who edged out the Attack with a 6-5 victory. On Saturday evening, Martine Caissie scored four goals to lead the Attack to a 5-3 victory. The third and final game of the series closed on Sunday with a win for the Attack as they came from behind to win by a score of 7-5. Joelle Proulx and Martine Caissie combined for 4 points apiece and Gabrielle Cormier posted 2 goals and 1 assist in the 4th period to secure the victory for the Attack.

The Attack will play two series at home to finish their regular season. On February 2-3 they will host the 2nd place Cambridge Turbos and their offensive tandem of Emily Bakker (91 points in 21 games) and Jacqueline Gaudet (89 points in 20 games) in Cocagne, NB. On Saturday, the game will be held at 7pm at the Marina Arena. On Sunday, a re-match will be played at 10:45am.
