Attack fall to Devils and Rath; fail to secure a spot in the medal round

The Atlantic Attack faced some stiff competition on their journey to win a medal on home ice at the
Canadian Ringette Championship. In Thursday game action, the Attack were up 3-0 in the first period
against the Gloucester Devils. However, the Devils responded with 4 goals and paved the way to a 6-
4 win. Attack goals were scored by K. MacAdam, N. Bordage, J. Doiron and J. Proulx. In an evening
match against the Calgary Rath, Victoria Russell chipped in 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the Western
Canadian team in a 7-1 victory.

The Attack will not advance to a bronze or gold medal game, but will look for a strong finish in their
final match vs. the Richmond Hill Lightning at 8:15am on Friday morning (Grant Harvey Centre).

The bronze medal game will be played at 6pm Friday evening, and the NRL Championship game will
take place on Saturday morning at 10:45am. Both games will take place at the Willie O’Ree Arena.
