Attack post one win and two losses on the road

The Atlantic Attack faced three different teams this past weekend on a whirlwind tour throughout Quebec. The Attack first posted a 3-2 victory over the BC Thunder of the Western Conference, who were also visiting Quebec for a combination of away games. Joelle Proulx opened the scoring for the Attack and Jenny Snowdon potted two markers, including the game winning goal. Karine Doiron backstopped the Attack with 45 saves.

On Saturday evening, the Attack visited the Montreal Mission to whom they suffered an 8-5 loss. Miguelle Proulx had two goals and Jenny Snowdon posted three points.

The Attack faced off against the Gatineau Fusion to close out the road trip. The Attack fell behind 4-0 at the half, but attempted to mount a miraculous comeback by scoring six goals in the final two periods. However, the Attack ultimately fell to the Fusion 7-6. Jocelyn Landry and Jenny Snowdon scored two goals apiece and Michelle Gray and Martine Caissie each contributed a marker to the final tally of goals.

The 9th place Attack will welcome the 6th place Gloucester Devils for a three games series on November 15-16 in Fredericton and Oromocto.
