The Atlantic Attack hit the road to Montreal this weekend hoping to pull out with a win, but the Lac St. Louis Adrenaline and Cambridge Turbos have further delayed the Attack from gaining points in the Eastern Conference standings. On Saturday, the Attack played a single game against the Lac St. Louis Adrenaline. Forward, Jenny Snowdon, had 2 goals and 1 assist in an 8-4 loss. Later in the day, the Attack faced the top team in the East, the Cambridge Turbos. Jennifer Gaudet carried the Turbos with an impressive 4 goals and 4 assists as the Attack were overtaken 12-2. The Turbos fired 74 shots on goaltender Karine Doiron in the loss. Kelly Snowdon had both Attack goals.
In Sunday morning action, the highly offensive Turbos kept the score sheet rolling in an 11-1 victory. The Atlantic Attack face their worst start (0-7-0) in the team’s three year history and hope to reverse the pattern on Saturday November 16th in Fredericton, NB, when they face the Richmond Hill Lightning for a two game stint.
