BC Thunder give back to local associations

The BC Thunder have been busy this season giving back to the ringette community by running clinics and development camps. The Thunder have been bouncing around all over the lower mainland to associations such as Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Richmond, Langley, and Surrey to run a series of u12 development camps. "It’s a good feeling to run these camps and give back to the sport you love", Thunder captain Brandy Lietz who’s been heading up these sessions says. "Seeing these girls improve from session to session gives you your own feeling of accomplishment as an instructor."

The Thunder recently helped the BC CWG team run their skills competition at their local Spirit of Winter tournament from December 5-7 in Langley, BC. The CWG games teams from BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan attended this tournament. Look for the Thunder in the second half of the season running more on ice sessions in your local associations!
