Devils have a family feeling this season

The Gloucester Devils have a family feeling this season. With a combination of trades and draft picks they have acquired two sister combos to bring their sister numbers to 3. These include Kaitlyn and Kelsey Youldon who played for the team last season, Allison and Jennifer Gabel, and Jessica and Alyssa Mainwood. Allison has been a Gloucester Devil for a number of years, and through a trade with the Ottawa Ice, sister Jennifer (U19 Team Canada East) was acquired. Jessica Mainwood was drafted by the Devils this season and her sis Alyssa was acquired in a trade with the Gatineau Fusion in late September. Add to that, Dad Dave Mainwood coaching the team and Brandon Miller (assistant coach) and mom Denise (managing).

The Devils have also added Jasmine Leblance, U19 Team Canada and former Atlantic Attack goalie, Abby Lewis and Amanda Gour who will be Developmental Affiliates as well as play for the Gloucester Belle AA and Ottawa U teams respectiviely

Samantha Morris rejoins the team this season after being on reserve while working in the UK last season.

Returning players include Allison Biewald, Amelie Dugas, Colleen Hagan, Kristin Johsnton, Vanessa Lacroix, Melanie Vaillant, Lynita White and Ashley Rheaume as well as the three players mentioned above. Bill Hubbs also returns as an assistant coach.

New players, new pants, new off ice jackets, new season!!! The Devils are looking forward to their first game (Ottawa), and their first team flight to Moncton at the end of October. Let the games begin!!!
