Gloucester Devils – Entertain, Educate and Inspire

Like other NRL teams, the Devils engage with younger ringette players by providing opportunities for aspiring ringette players to meet the NRL Devils face to face at NRL games and by leading clinics, in particular for teams in the Gloucester Cumberland Ringette Association.

Photos below show autograph sessions and the Ringette Canada mascot at the Devils / Wildfire showcase game on November 21, and engagement with a U8 team from Gloucester for the Edmonton WAM game on November 29th.

The Devils won both hard played games, defeating the Wildfire 5 to 4 in shoot outs, and by downing the hard skating WAM 8 to 5.

Leading scorers for the Devils over the two games included Allie Biewald with 7 points, Allie Marcotte with 6 and Brianna Thompson with 5 points.
Jasmine Leblanc faced 72 shots and stopped 63 for a save percentage of 87.5 and a goals against average of 4.5.

The Devils faced Ottawa Ice yesterday and came away with a 7-6 win and they beat Gatineau Fusion 7-3 today. The Devils, Ice and Fusion that comprise the “Capital” area of the NRL are all within one point of each other going into this exciting weekend of NRL action.
