After being the first team from the NRL East to travel to Vancouver at the end of January to play four games against the BC Thunder (2W-2L), Lac St. Louis faced the Royal de Bourassa and notched a key 5-4 win to help the team stay close to its rivals in the standings. After two friendly prep matches against the Quebec U19 AAA team, and a clinic offered to the young ones from the St. Hyacinthe ringette association, the Adrenaline was back to work this past Saturday, taking on both the Richmond Hill Lightning and the Gatineau Fusion, in Gatineau. In the first game, LSL lost 8-4 but got the win against Gatineau later on, 5-2.
With four wins in its last seven games, the Adrenaline is not backing down and has a big part of its fate in its own hands. With three more regular season games to go, the team still has a shot at home ice advantage for the playoffs.
Notable point, Cortney Keeble over the last few games established a new team record for total points during a season.
