Mission control

The Montreal Mission have proven during the last week-end of the schedule, and last road trip of its season, that they are ready and willing to give it all to reach the podium at the Canadian Championships. The Mission has served notice that it will be at the top of its game come the Canadian Championships Tournament.

Besides winning the three games against the Toronto Region teams, it is with great pride that we acknowledge a personal achievement for Julie Blanchette #99.

During the game against Cambridge on Saturday February 28, Julie reached the 1000 regular season career points–first NRL player to reach that milestone –(points accumulated in 233 regular season games since season 2007 – 2008). Julie also finished in first place of the scoring race for the 2014 – 2015 season getting 126 points in 28 games.

Catherine Cartier finished in second place with 122 points in 24 games (missing 4 games for personal obligations). She currently has 932 regular season career points.

The Mission will now spend the next few weeks preparing for the ultimate Tournament and head to Wood Buffalo on March 28 to start its road to the podium.
