Montreal Mission remain unbeaten through regular season play; defeating the Atlantic Attack on the road.

The Atlantic Attack of the National Ringette League played a three game road series in Montreal this past weekend against the top team in the Eastern Conference, the Montreal Mission. In Saturday afternoon action, Martine Caissie scored 14 seconds into the game, yet Montreal responded with seven unanswered goals. Julie Blanchette of the Mission scored 4 goals and notched 4 assists as the Mission skated away with a 14-6 victory. In Saturday evening action, the two teams were close at the half way point with 5 goals for the Mission and 4 for the Attack. However, the third period things took a turn for the worse for the Attack as the Mission scored 6 goals. The final score was 15-7 for the Mission. Martine Caissie had the hat trick for the Attack.

On Sunday, the Attack tied the score with the Mission several times, but the Mission once again had the edge on the scoresheet as they skated to an 11-8 victory over the Attack. Affiliate player, Kirsti Mason from Cole Harbour in only her second NRL game had 2 goals and 3 assists for the Attack. The Attack will resume regular season action at home when they face off against the Gatineau Fusion on November 17-18th in Fredericton.
