Montreal Mission start season strong

The new season started on September 28 against Lac Saint Louis and the Mission got their first win with a final score of 14–1.

Montreal’s first round pick and rookie Laurence Pellerin shook off the rookie jitters early in the game and finished with a 2 goals 2 assists tally (bravo Lolo).

Audrey-Anne Plante obtained via transaction with Rive-Sud brought speed and determination to the team and her efforts resulted into a 1 goal 4 assists performance (excellent Audrey).

Veterans and team leaders Catherine Cartier 6 goals and 1 assist (what!!!) and Julie Blanchette with 5 goals and 3 assists (double what!!!) completed the scoring.

Laurie Mathieu missed her shut out with a lucky goal by LSL (excellent performance).

The team is an excellent mix of veterans and young players and speed is the strength of this team. They do not stop skating. Work ethics is high and pride is a major factor of the team spirit.

Go Mission go!
