The Attack slow down the Cyclones

December 4, 2011 – Shediac, New Brunswick – Only one goal decided the fate of all three games the Atlantic Attack played against their Eastern Conference Rivals; the Quebec City Cyclones.

On Saturday morning in Shediac, Marilyn Doucet scored a hat trick, but it was not enough as the Cyclones secured a 7-6 victory. On Saturday evening in Cap-Pele the two teams squared off again, but it was Martine Caissie and Stephanie Robichaud who saved the day as they both scored the only goals in the Attack’s first ever game deciding shootout.

On Sunday morning the Attack climbed another two points in the standings as they defeated the Cyclones 3-2. The Attack will now have to wait until the New Year before continuing their surge in the Eastern Conference of the National Ringette League when they face off in an away game series against the Cambridge Turbos, who hold a 7-1-0-2 record.
